The indicator reports the percentage of crime cases under police investigation to the total number of crime incidence. The data are taken from the National Socionomic Survey (SUSENAS) data.
Over the course of 2015-2019, the percentage of crime cases reported then proceeded to be under investigation increased from 11.76% (2015) to 13.32% (2019). In 2019 alone, the province with the lowest percentage of crime under investigation is DI Yogyakarta with only 4.76% of total crime cases that went under police investigation. On the other hand, Papua Barat (22.57%) has the highest percentage nationally.
