The indicator reports the weighted percentage of households within a boundary area that relies on packaged water for drinking purposes. The data are taken from the 2011-2019 National Socioeconomic Survey (Susenas).
On a national level, in 2019, around 10% of households relied on packaged water as drinking source. Provinces with the highest percentage of households relying on packaged water for drinking include DKI Jakarta (41%), Bali (32%) , Banten (21%). Meanwhile, provinces with least reliance on packaged water for drinking purposes include Sulawesi Barat (0.25% of households), Maluku (0.47%) amd Maluku Utara (0.6%).
