The indicator reports the percentage of crime cases reported to police to the total number of crime incidence. The data are taken from the National Socionomic Survey (SUSENAS) data.
Over the course of 2015-2019, the percentage of crime cases reported to police increased from 14.89% (2015) to 23.54% (2019). In 2019 alone, the province with the single digit percentage of crime being reported is Sulawesi Barat (8.09%), Maluku Utara (8.54%), and Gorontalo (9.61%). On the other hand, Kep. Riau (44.88%) has the highest percentage nationally.
