Environmental Quality Index (IKLH) is an index that describes the overall condition of national and local environment management results. The index is composed of 3 indicators, namely Air Quality Index (IKU), Water Quality Index (IKA), and Land Coverage Index (IKTL).
The data was collected from the Ministry of Environment and Forestry.
In 2019, the national Environmental Quality Index (IKLH) score is 66.55. The score is being affected by IKA of 52.52, IKU of 86.56, and IKTL of 62. Although the score can still be considered as good, when compared to 2018, the score had declined by 5.12 points. There are 4 provinces with IKLH > 80: West papua, Papua, East Kalimantan, and Central Sulawesi. The densely populated DKI Jakarta along with DI Yogyakarta scored between 40-50 points.
