The percentages reported in the tabulation are the district-wide, province-wide, and nation-wide percentage of adult population that had neither subscribed to National Health Program (BPJS) nor other private insurance institutions. The data are taken from the National Socionomic Survey (Susenas) data.
On a national level, there's a downtrend on the percentage of adult population with no health insurance. The number of uninsured adults in 2015 was 70.57% and in 2019 this number had dropped to 47.54%. DKI Jakarta leads the national lowest of uninsured adults with only 17.20%. Meanwhile, Kalimantan Barat still has more than half of its adult population uninsured (68.65%).
