Female Unemployment Rate

Crises caused by COVID-19 for the workforce are physical restriction, the loss of a job, and decrease demand for labor. Due to COVID-19, Indonesia's female unemployment rate increase from 2019 (5.22%) to 2020 (6.45%). The female unemployment rate in almost every province in Indonesia is increasing where DKI Jakarta, Jawa Barat, and Banten are the worst female unemployment rate at the province level but the highest increase in female unemployment is in DKI Jakarta. Since 1993 the highest female unemployment rate is in 2005 (14.7%)
